Turkiye Is Expected To Receive More Than 2 Million Tourists For Treatment In The Last Quarter Of This Year

In a statement by Dr. Servet Terzilar, President of the Medical Tourism Association in Turkiye, according to the current data and indicators, it is expected that more than 2 million tourists will visit Turkiye for treatment by the end of this year. He added in a statement issued by the association, that Turkiye's share in the medical tourism sector is increasing day by day. He explained that Turkiye has become one of the most prominent medical tourism destinations in the world. With regard to the nationalities of the expatriates, he pointed out that the medical tourism sector in Turkiye is very popular, in the first place, among citizens of Europe and the Middle East. As for profits, Mr. Terzilar pointed out that a total profit of $4 billion is expected from medical tourism by the end of this year 2022.
